This course is a combination of all three units of competency commonly required for supervisors at workplaces such as in the Mining environment.

RISK MANAGEMENT
skills and knowledge required to apply risk management processes in the mining, drilling and civil infrastructure industry.

This unit applies to individuals who contribute to applying risk management processes as part of their responsibilities. This could be an employer, line manager, supervisor, safety representative or employee. This unit applies to those who carry out or assist in carrying out risk assessment in the workplace.

SAFETY & HEALTH INVESTIGATIONS
skills and knowledge required to conduct work related health and safety investigations as a result of an incident and to contribute to a safe workplace.

It applies to individuals who participate in work related health and safety investigations as part of their responsibilities.

COMMUNICATE INFORMATION
The skills and knowledge required to communicate information to complete work activities within the mining, drilling and civil infrastructure industry. It includes planning and preparing for and conducting communication via a number of different methods to ensure work activities are understood.

This unit applies to individuals who are working in an operational, supervisory or team leader capacity.
