Description

This course provides learners with an understanding of the TRG – Hot Work (cutting and Welding) at Mines and Petroleum Sites. It is not part of any Nationally Recognised Training Package but the knowledge is essential to perform Hot Work at Mines and Petroleum Sites. Learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement on successful completion.

This course is designed for personnel who may/may not have a trade background and are required to perform Hot Work (Cutting and Welding) at Mines or Petroleum Sites or those that have the responsibility to supervise or adhere to the TRG.

Training minimise's the risks to health and safety of people where cutting and welding activities are being carried out at Mines or Petroleum Sites.

This course replaces the previous for MDG25 Safe Cutting and Welding at Mines, as this has been transitioned to the Technical Reference Guide - Hot Work (Cutting and Welding) at Mines and Petroleum Sites.
